Salmonellosis is a zoonotic disease transmitted from infected birds to humans. There are many serotypes, but some are particularly important for public health since they are the cause of many cases of food poisoning.
With this in mind, the National Programmes consider vaccine use a supplementary measure to increase the birds’ resistance to salmonella exposure.

At Calier, we have our own Diagnostics Centre (CECADI) you can leverage to request lab testing online, check results and have permanent access to your request history via your profile.
Wevap is a tool to digitalise Primun vaccine audits. Wevap lets you guarantee the entire process: from safety measures to taking samples and preparing and administering vaccines.
It also enables internal audits that are assessed and annotated by our technical services to propose improvements.
